Eaton Village

On the opposite side of the Yare Valley lies the sister village of Eaton. Separated for centuries by the narrow bridge that once took all of the A11 trafffic from Norwich to London.

Cringleford Mill

Graphic photographs of the 1916 fire that destroyed much of the original Mill leaving just the Mill House as we know it today

Cringleford Bridge

For the City of Norwich the Gateway to the London haswas always this narrow bridge over the Yare. As the photos show this short journey has at times proven extremely hazardous

Keswick Road

Just another country lane a century ago. Not much changed today although home to many more families enjoying a peaceful lifestyle almost in the country with all City amenities on the door step.

Cringleford Green

Once Common land available for grazing, the Green is now a pleasent open space centred around the Village sign.
